We believe that ‘good food’ gives pleasure to the senses and sustenance to the body.
In other words, food which is both delicious and nutritious,
food which restores both body and spirit.
We’re in this game because we’re passionate about good food, about health and wellbeing and about the bigger planetary picture we humans play such an important role in. Our food is prepared using fresh, whole ingredients of the best quality, without preservatives or colourants, and with as much organic content as possible. Food which is essentially hand made the ‘slow food’ way, so that the ingredients get to speak for themselves.
The Ginkgo Biloba tree (or gingko as we’ve spelled it) is one of the oldest living fossils. Trees have been sacred in almost all cultures since time immemorial. They are one of our most potent symbols of life, their roots reaching down to honour the passage of time and history, their branches reaching up in a celebration of renewal and life going forward. They offer sustenance and sanctuary, both of which we hope you’ll experience at gingko!
We now offer a weekend breakfast buffet!
As with our luncheon buffet, you’ll find a spread of continental and Middle Eastern breakfast goodies, including organic yoghurts, an array of mueslis and granolas, cheeses, fruit, salads, and delicious baked goodies. The buffet will hopefully give you yet more choice and stave off the hunger pangs whilst we prepare your a la carte orders.
